How are you?

I hope you are keeping well wherever you are. The year is slowly bringing down its curtains on us. Are you feeling anxious and wondering if you would ever achieve your dreams for the year 2020? Worry not, it’s time to rewrite those life goals afresh. As you will read from today’s blog post…nothing is achieved without some level of patience and consistency.

Do you have a dream to go back to school, but do not know how? Have you applied for Scholarships before? Have you applied for Chevening Applications before? Are you among the those who have received several rejection emails and you have given up? If yes, today’s blog post is for you. You must read this blog post and share it with your friends or anyone else who is at the verge of giving up.

Today’s guest writer started her #CheveningJourney in 2012. One of my mentees, Light Juma who serves as a Programmes Officer at the Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) shares her fantastic story into becoming a 2020/21 Chevening Scholar. A fantastic story told in a fantastic way. Very raw and inspirational.

Here we go- https://ljmemoirs.wordpress.com/2020/09/08/mycheveningdreamcometrue/

While on her blog, remember to hit the follow button. She will be writing about her experience in the UK, at least twice a month.

#IAmChevening and this too is part of #MyCheveningJourney.

I believe in a just society and I am a strong believer in Ralph Waldo Emerson words: “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate and to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
